Seoul: Brutal mother in South Korea brutally killed her 2 newborns and kept the bodies in a freezer for years.
According to the American Broadcasting Corporation, the mother who is facing charges in a South Korean court for strangling her own two newborns and storing their bodies in a freezer already had three children, ages 12, 10 and 8.
When a 30-year-old woman gave birth to her fourth child in 2018, the child was strangled to death the next day and the body was kept in a freezer. A year later, the woman gave birth to a baby girl.
This time too, the ruthless mother strangled the girl and kept her body in the freezer. Thus, there were now the bodies of two newborns in their freezer.
The matter came to light this month when the government’s Board of Adult and Inspection found in an audit report that the birth certificates and B forms of two children born in the same family in 2018 and 2019 have not been registered yet. School age has also arrived.
The presence of the children in the hospital records was solid evidence, on which the police searched the woman’s house and recovered the bodies of the children from the freezer. The mother also confessed to the crime.
The police have sent the body of the children for post-mortem after which formal action will be initiated against the mother. The children’s father told police that his wife had said she had miscarried both times.
It should be remembered that according to South Korea’s Board of Audit and Inspection, about 2,236 children born between 2015 and 2022 were not registered by their parents, in which 23 cases may endanger the children’s lives.
