Islamabad: After 16 years, a coal mine was started in central Karam, which was considered a haven for terrorists and economically backward in the past, with the support of the Pakistan Army.
Out of 170 mines in Central Kurram, 62 coal mines were inaugurated.
More than 650 workers in coal mine are working in mines in different areas and with every passing day the number of workers and employment is increasing.
Over 5,000 jobs have been created due to the coal mining activities and the security forces have also eradicated terrorism from Kuram, achieving another milestone in the fight against terrorism. More than 2500 families are benefiting from mining employment.
Local people say that initially there were significant difficulties, but now with the efforts of the local government and security forces, many of our problems have been solved.
Along with providing employment to many people outside the area, other problems of the people of the area have also reduced to a great extent, on which the residents of the area are grateful for the efforts of the Pakistan Army.
