Canadian authorities have launched an investigation into the 'explosion' of the tourist submarine Titan

Canadian authorities have launched an investigation into the undersea explosion of the tourist submarine Titan in the Atlantic Ocean.

It should be noted that on Thursday, a robotic diving vehicle deployed by a Canadian ship found the wreckage of the submarine Titan in which 5 people, including two Pakistanis, died.

Canada’s Transportation Safety Board (TSB) said it was launching a “safety investigation” into all matters surrounding the submarine Titan because its surface support vessel, the Polar Prince, was a Canadian vessel.

A TSB team was dispatched to collect information and conduct interviews about 400 miles north of the crash site, the agency said.

It should be noted that Stockton Rush, the CEO of Ocean Gate, a tourist submarine company, was also killed in this accident. The same company’s co-founder Galerino Saholin said in 2009 that Stockton Rush was “highly aware” of the dangers of deep-sea exploration.
