Pakistan has strongly protested against the violation of ceasefire by Indian forces in the Satwal sector of the Line of Control (LoC) and summoned the Indian Comptroller of Affairs to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Spokesperson of the Foreign Office says that two civilians were martyred and one was injured today due to firing by the Indian Army.
The spokesperson said that they condemn the targeting of innocent civilians by the Indian forces.
The spokesperson said that the action of the Indian forces is a clear violation of the 2003 ceasefire agreement.
The spokesperson of the Foreign Office said that Pakistan urged India to respect the ceasefire agreement.
The spokesman added that India should investigate the incident and maintain peace along the Line of Control.
