Chairman of EU-Pak Friendship Federation Europe Chaudhry Parvez Iqbal Lohsar met Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in Paris.
Chaudhry Pervez Iqbal mentioned the Prime Minister’s meeting with European Commission President Ursula Van der Leyen and termed Pakistan’s participation in the Global Financing Pact Summit as a milestone.
Chaudhry Parvez Iqbal highlighted the importance and benefits of GSP Plus and called it indispensable for the business community of Pakistan and the country’s economy.
He appreciated the efforts of the President of the European Commission for the relief and rehabilitation of the flood victims of 2022 for the Pakistani people affected by natural disasters and expressed happiness for the assurance of continued support from the European Union.
Chaudhry Pervez Iqbal said that the ongoing cooperation between European Union and Pakistan including GSP Plus is the success of Pakistan.
Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif told Chaudhry Parvez Iqbal that patriotic Pakistanis like you are a source of pride for the entire nation.
Chaudhry Parvez Iqbal also invited the Prime Minister to visit Belgium which was accepted by Shahbaz Sharif.
