US Ambassador to Pakistan Donald Bloom says that the International Monetary Fund (IMF) is an independent institution that works within the policy framework, and wants to see Pakistan’s successful program with the IMF.
Speaking at the event in Karachi, the American ambassador said that he wants the development and prosperity of Pakistan, does not want to isolate anyone, and has trade relations with China.
He said that he has cooperated with Pakistan in all possible ways in flood disasters, he wants to see a Pakistan that is not affected by climate change, a better future is the right of the people of Pakistan.
Donald Bloom said that Pak-US trade relations are increasing with time, 8 crore vaccine doses have been provided to Pakistan in Corona, Pak-US relations will be stronger in the future.
The American ambassador added that Pakistan’s biggest problem is the economy, which they want to solve. If Pakistan-US relations become more stable, the opportunities for development will increase. They want to improve, they want to talk about the future, not the past.
