Karachi: Balanced consumption of sacrificial meat is extremely important for citizens to avoid complex health related problems. Other health problems include food-borne illness (FBD), which is caused by contaminated food or beverages, including raw meat and spoiled food.

Professor Waseem Jafari has said that diarrhoea, vomiting, abdominal pain, nausea, fever, fatigue, back or joint pain are symptoms of FBD disease.
He said that this disease includes many diseases which is a growing public health problem in the world which is sometimes fatal, due to which complex diseases like cholera, hepatitis A, typhoid fever occur. FBD disease is divided into two categories, one is FBD infection and the other is FBD intoxication.
He said that the role of sanitation is very important in the prevention of food borne diseases. Foodborne illness can be prevented by a few important precautions, including washing hands and surfaces frequently, cooking food separately, maintaining specific cooking temperatures, immediate refrigeration, and good personal hygiene. Included.
He said that it is important for the citizens to consume a balanced diet on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha to avoid various health-related diseases.
