Quetta: Railways Police Quetta Division foiled drug smuggling by train and arrested three suspects.
According to the details, when the police personnel searched the belongings of Shahjahan, Azizullah and Rumal at the entrance gate of railway station Quetta, 7 packets of hashish were found inside the suitcase and shopper.
According to the police, the drug packets were hidden under the clothes, after which the three accused were arrested on the spot. The total weight of recovered drugs is 7 kg 70 grams.
The accused had come to board the Jafar Express from Quetta to Peshawar. Two of the accused belong to Quetta while the third one is from Afghanistan.
A case has been registered against the three accused in Quetta Railway Police Station and further investigation is underway.
