Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) had a negative trading day today. 100 index closed down 86 points at 40,65.
The end of the business week started on a positive note but the index continued to decline in the second session on Friday.
100 index also went below 40000 during the business day but ended the business at 40065.
The index fell by 86 points while the index remained in the band of 341 points during the business day.
Almost half of the 14 crore shares in the stock market were settled at Rs 3 billion. The market capitalization decreased by 7 billion rupees to 6 thousand 163 billion rupees.
