The Chief Minister of the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh (UP) Yogi Adityanath commented on the song of Bollywood King Shahrukh’s movie Pathan.
According to the Indian media report, Yogi Adityanath discussed the scenes filmed in the song Be Sharm Rang and said that there should not be such scenes in the film, which hurt feelings.
Yogi Adityanath discussed the ongoing controversy over the song Be Sharm Rang from the film Pathan and said that a film director should avoid such scenes to avoid controversy.
According to a media report, the UP Chief Minister said that many people have objected to the song hurting religious sentiments.
He further said that the film director should ensure that no scene is filmed which could lead to controversy.
Yogi Adityanath also said that we should respect the work of any artist or writer, our state has also made a policy regarding films.
The Pathan film was embroiled in controversy after the song’s release, with people criticizing Deepika Padukone for her outfit.
In one scene of the song, the actress is dressed in a saffron-colored dress, which is why the campaign to boycott the film Pathan took place on social media.
The morning shows of the film were canceled on the day of its release on January 25, but despite these difficulties, Pathan has been a huge success at the box office.
According to Yash Raj Films, Pathan has done a business of around 430 crores in India alone, while his worldwide earnings have exceeded 832 crores.
Earlier, Shahrukh Khan said in a media talk that whether we play the role of a hero or a villain, we all have the same goal, which is to communicate happiness, brotherhood, love and respect.
