US President Joe Biden and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi have demanded Pakistan to take action against organizations targeting India.
A joint statement of Modi’s meeting with US President Joe Biden in Washington has been issued.
The joint statement said that the US and India stand together to fight global terrorism and condemn all forms of terrorism and violent extremism.
President Biden and Prime Minister Modi have reiterated the need for collective action against all UN-listed terrorist groups, including Al-Qaeda, ISIS, Lashkar-e-Taiba, Jaish-e-Mohammed and Hizbul Mujahideen.
The two leaders also condemned cross-border terrorism and terrorist practices and demanded Pakistan to take immediate action to ensure that no area under its influence is used for terrorist attacks.
Both the leaders demanded that those involved in the Mumbai and Pathankot attacks be brought to justice.
The declaration states that the United States and India will work together with multilateral and especially the Quad and regional groups to make the Indo-Pacific region free and stable.
The partnership of the two countries will span from the seas to the stars, the two leaders said that this partnership will define the next century.
In an effort to rein in China, the US president ignored allegations of growing authoritarianism in India.
The United States has made agreements related to providing technology for making fighter jet engines, US investment of 800 million dollars in a semiconductor plant and cooperation in space projects.
India will also acquire the MQ9 BC Guardians and highly sophisticated armed drones from the US.
Apart from this, India will also be included in the American mission to be sent to the moon by the year 2025.
