Former US President Barack Obama says that if Narendra Modi’s government does not provide protection to India’s ethnic minorities, India is in danger of disintegrating.
He said this in an interview given to American media in response to a question about Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to America.
The former US President said that in the meeting with Narendra Modi, President Biden should raise the issue of protection of Muslim minorities in Hindu-majority India.
He further said that if I had met Modi, I would have argued that if he does not provide protection to India’s ethnic minorities, India is in danger of disintegrating.
He said that we have seen the result of massive internal differences. It will not only be against the interest of Indian Muslims but also against the interest of Indian Hindus.
