Quetta: The high treason case against the Chairman Tehreek-e-Insaf has been fixed for hearing in the Balochistan High Court.
A division bench consisting of Chief Justice Naeem Akhtar Afghan and Justice Muhammad Nawaz Rana gave the date of the high treason case. The court fixed the hearing of the high treason case on July 25.
The court issued notices to the parties regarding the hearing.
The petition for the high treason case was submitted by the senior advocate of the Supreme Court, Abdul Razzaq Shar, who was killed by unknown persons. A constitutional petition was filed against the former prime minister for breaking up the assembly and violating Article 5 and 6.
It should be noted that Advocate Abdul Razzaq Shar was killed by unknown persons due to which the case was stopped. Abdur Razzaq Shar was represented by lawyer Amanullah Kunrani who will continue to follow the case.
