President Dr. Arif Alvi approved the appointment of Justice Qazi Faiz Isa as the Chief Justice of Pakistan.
The appointment will be effective from September 17, 2023 with the retirement of Justice Umar Ata Bandial.
President Dr. Arif Alvi has appointed Justice Qazi Faiz Isa as the Chief Justice under Article 175 A3 of the Constitution.
President of Pakistan Dr. Arif Alvi will take the oath of office of the Chief Justice of Pakistan on September 17, 2023 from Justice Qazi Faiz Isa.
The President of the State has already approved the appointment of Justice Qazi Faiz Isa as Chief Justice 2 months ago.
On the other hand, the Ministry of Law issued a notification for the appointment of Justice Qazi Faiz Isa as the Chief Justice of Pakistan.
