Looting of sacrificial animals continues in Karachi, 12 bulls and cows were seized from different areas, some by force of arms and some by theft.
In Orangi, the accused broke the locks of the shop and stole 5 sacrificial animals worth Rs 8 lakh and escaped.
Petitioner Muhammad Kamran submitted an application at Orangi police station in which it is stated that 8 animals were tied inside the shop and it was locked from outside.
In another incident, Shaara Faisal police recovered a cow stolen two days ago from Liaquatabad.
The unknown suspects had stolen a cow from Gulistan Johar and fled by putting it in a car, while the suspect involved in the incident, Shahab Masroor, escaped.
The police have started investigation into both the incidents.
On the other hand, police and Rangers took action near Jamali Bridge on the Super Highway and arrested two suspects involved in the robbery near the cattle market and recovered the weapons.
