The Director General (DG) of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has urged to develop a central database of agents and human traffickers.
The seventh meeting of the Inter-Agency Task Force was held at FIA Headquarters, chaired by Director General FIA Mohsin Hasan Butt.
DG National Police Bureau, Additional DGs and Directors of FIA attended the meeting.
Officers of law enforcement agencies also participated in the meeting while federal, provincial and Azad Kashmir police officials also participated.
Coast Guard, FC, Rangers, Maritime Security Agency, NADRA officials also attended the meeting.
Officers of Passport Office, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Information also participated in the meeting while officers of Bureau of Immigration and Overseas Employment also participated in the meeting.
The participants of the meeting expressed regret over the loss of precious lives in the Yunnan boat accident.
DGFIA said that awareness is essential to root out human trafficking.
