Karachi: They tortured two police officers of Shaheen Force for stopping drunk people for checking in Azizabad. Due to which both officers were injured.
According to Express News, the officers of Shaheen Force stationed in Azizabad Police Station on motorcycle patrol near Christian Para, Nimat Colony area of Azizabad stopped the intoxicated persons for the purpose of checking. As a result of which the police officers were injured.
The injured were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for medical assistance, the officials were identified as Parvez Khan and Mohammad Hamad.
SHO Azizabad said that the injured officials were posted in Azizabad police station and were on motorcycle patrol when the incident took place. It was 50 to 60, the police took action and arrested 5 people involved in the attack while the search for the other absconders is on.
On the other hand, eyewitnesses say that the officials stopped the intoxicated persons, the police officials allegedly demanded a bribe, on which the intoxicated persons took them to their area where they called several of their associates and Beat the police officers.
The facts of the incident have been informed to the SSP Central, the incident is being investigated on the orders of the SSP.
