Karachi: A meeting of the Central Royat Hilal Committee will be held today to sight the Zil Hajj moon in Pakistan.
According to the Spokesperson of the Viewing Hilal Committee, the meeting of the Central Viewing Hilal Committee will be held today, Monday, June 19, in Karachi under the chairmanship of Chairman Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad.

Meetings of zonal crescent sighting committees will also be held today in Islamabad, Lahore, Peshawar and other areas. The zonal committees will send a report to the central committee about the sighting of the moon, while the announcement of the sighting of the moon will be made by the Chairman Rawat Hilal Committee. After which, according to tradition, a notification will also be issued by the Ministry of Religious Affairs.
Meteorological Department experts, SPARCO officials, besides members of the Viewt Hilal Committee will participate in the meeting of the Viewt Hilal Committee.
