Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman says that he has received an invitation to participate in the swearing-in ceremony of the mayor, he will tell today whether to participate or not.
Hafiz Naeem said in one of his statements that he thanks the people of Karachi for giving him the mandate.
Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi said that the government does not see any priority.
He said that he will tell the press conference today whether the mayor will participate in the swearing-in ceremony of Karachi or not.
It should be noted that Murtaza Wahab belonging to the People’s Party got 173 votes in the voting held on June 15 for the election of mayor, while Jamaat-e-Islami’s candidate Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman came second with 160 votes.
