Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has said that Malir Expressway will prove to be a game changer in the development of Karachi.
While reviewing the development works of Malir Expressway in Karachi, Sindh Chief Minister said that the 39 km Malir Expressway project will be completed at a cost of 27 billion rupees, the first part of Malir Expressway from Jam Sadiq Bridge to Quaidabad is 38% complete. Chika
Sindh Chief Minister said that a part of Malir Expressway is scheduled to be opened in December, the work of the other part from Quaidabad to Kathor has been completed by 15%.
Murad Ali Shah said that 6 interchanges, flyovers and 6 bridges will be constructed on the project, the construction of Malir Expressway will reduce the traffic pressure on Shariah-e-Faisal and its construction will reduce the distance by about 40 km.
He said that the traffic pressure going from Karachi to Thatta and Jamshoro will also be reduced.
Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon, newly elected Mayor Murtaza Wahab and other officials were also present on this occasion.
‘The vehicle that throws garbage near the road should be locked up in the police station’
According to the spokesperson, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has expressed his anger over the dumping of debris along Korangi Road.
He has directed the DC and SP Korangi to clean the road by removing the debris from tonight.
In this regard, he has said that no one is allowed to throw debris along the road, any vehicle that throws debris or garbage near the road should be locked in the police station and a case should be filed against him.
