The Coordinating Committee of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Pakistan has expressed concerns over the last date of voter registration.
A meeting of the coordination committee of MQM was held in Karachi under the chairmanship of Mustafa Kamal.
According to the statement released after the meeting, the coordination committee expressed its reservations on setting the last date for correctness of voter lists to July 13.
On this occasion, it was decided that MQM will send a letter to the Election Commission to extend the voter registration date.
According to the sources, the MQM Coordination Committee has called a meeting of the leaders from all over Karachi tomorrow, in which a discussion is expected on the general elections, political situation and the attitude of the People’s Party.
