Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif says that 12 Pakistanis rescued by the Pakistani embassy in Athens have been identified.
Shahbaz Sharif has expressed his condolences to the families of Pakistanis who died in a boat accident near Greece.
In his statement, the Prime Minister said that my prayers are with the families whose loved ones died in this accident, the sinking of a boat off the coast of Greece in the Red Sea is a great tragedy.
The prime minister said that the Pakistani embassy in Athens is in touch with the Greek authorities in this matter. 12 Pakistanis were rescued by the Greek coast guards.
It should be noted that a few days ago, there was an accident of the sinking of the migrant boat in the sea near Greece.
According to reports from Athens, 79 migrants drowned in the accident. According to rescue officials, hundreds are missing.
Rescue officials further said that 104 passengers of the boat have been rescued. He said that there were possibly 750 people on board the 65 to 100 feet long boat.
