The son of the late husband’s friend was involved in the murder of the widow and her son
Karachi: The police arrested the accused involved in the murder of mother and son in Quaidabad.
Last month, a Pakistan Navy employee’s widow and two-year-old son were brutally murdered at home in Goshth Gully area of Quaidabad.
According to the investigating police, a raid was conducted in Quaidabad Khaldabad to arrest the accused involved in the murder. Meanwhile, Abdul Hafeez, the accused involved in the murder, was arrested with the help of mobile phone location.
During the raid, the accomplice of the accused, Rafi, escaped. Arrested murderer Abdul Hafeez along with his accomplice Rafi killed the two-year-old son of Malikar Khatoon and Saina.

The absconding accused, Rafi, is young and the son of the deceased’s late husband’s friend. Accused Rafi was tempted after seeing money in the house of the victim.
Accused Rafi came to the house on the pretext and then called the arrested accused as well. The two accused killed the woman with a sharp instrument and drowned the child in a water tank.
After the incident, the accused took cash, gold and mobile phone of the deceased from the house. Raids are being conducted in search of the juvenile accused Rafi. Both the accused are addicted to drugs.
