Saudi Minister of Islamic Affairs Dr. Abdul Latif Al-Sheikh has said that this step has been taken for the convenience of millions of pilgrims.
The Saudi minister says that with this initiative, the pilgrims will not have any problem of transportation to and from the Haram.
It should be noted that Friday prayers are not usually offered in small mosques and near Masjid al-Haram in Makkah, and Friday prayers are offered in Masjid al-Haram, but it is also organized in mosques away from Masjid al-Haram.
