Britain has appointed Jane Marriott as the new British High Commissioner to Pakistan, Jane Marriott will take up her duties in Pakistan in mid-July.
Jane Marriott will be the first female British High Commissioner to Pakistan.
In her message on social media, Jane Marriott said that she is happy about the appointment of the High Commissioner in Pakistan, Pakistan-UK relations will be stronger in the future.
According to reports, Jane Marriott previously served as High Commissioner to Kenya from September 2019 to June 2023.
