The Indian Meteorological Department had said that the storm would hit the coast near Jakhao port in Gujarat between Karachi and Mandvi.

It was also reported that the storm was moving at a speed of around 15 km per hour.

Indian media said that strong winds and flooding in the sea are continuing in the Mandvi region of Gujarat.

It should be noted that the intensity of the cyclone in the North-Eastern Arabian Sea remained constant and its distance was decreasing towards Pakistan with the passage of time.

According to the Meteorological Department, Buparjoy was moving towards the northeast and the distance of this cyclone from the coastal areas of Pakistan was further reduced.

In this regard, the Meteorological Department said that the cyclone is less than 245 km from the south of Karachi, less than 210 km from the south of Thatta and less than 145 km from the south of Keti Bandar.

According to the Meteorological Department, the wind speed in the vicinity of the cyclone is 120 to 140 km per hour.

Regarding this, the Meteorological Department said that the wind gusts sometimes touching 150 km per hour on the sides of the storm and there is a severe surge in the sea around the center of the system.

The Meteorological Department had said that in a few hours the cyclone would hit between Kati Bandar and Indian Gujarat, the speed and direction of the cyclone changing every hour.

The wind speed can reach 100 to 120 km per hour when the storm hits.

Global Meteorologist Jason Nicholls has said in his statement on Cyclone Biparjoy that the cyclone is moving north, north-east.

The International Meteorologist said that Buparjoy’s landfall will take place between 5:30 pm and 8:30 pm IST near Jakhau port in Gujarat.

According to Jason Nichols, there is a chance of rain in Delhi on Monday as well.
