An event was organized in connection with the Kashmir Solidarity Day at the Embassy of Pakistan in Paris, the capital of France, in which people belonging to the Pakistani and Kashmiri communities participated in large numbers.
On this occasion, the messages of the President of Pakistan, the Prime Minister and the Foreign Minister were read out and a documentary film was shown highlighting Indian atrocities, human rights violations and other illegal actions in Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
Ambassador of Pakistan Asim Iftikhar Ahmed, consul Ehsan Karim and other diplomatic officers, as well as well-known Kashmiri leaders Zahid Iqbal Hashmi, Naeem Chaudhry, Malik Mushtaq Pasha, Raja Ashfaq Hussain, Mirza Asif Jaral, Chairman of Pakistan Business Forum Sardar Zahoor Iqbal, PML-N Chairman Raja Ali Asghar, Tahir Abbas Guraiya of Minhaj Al-Quran Institute and others spoke.
The speakers expressed their solidarity with the people of Occupied Jammu and Kashmir and strongly condemned the serious violations of human rights by the Indian occupying forces and demanded the United Nations and the international community to implement the relevant resolutions of the United Nations Security Council and Play your role for the solution of the Kashmir issue according to the wishes of the Kashmiri people.
Addressing the event, Ambassador Asim Iftikhar Ahmed paid tribute to the determination and sacrifice of the Kashmiri people for their right to self-determination and said that the entire Pakistani nation stands with its Kashmiri brothers and sisters and we firmly believe that One day the Kashmiri people will be able to gain freedom from the oppression and illegal occupation of the Indian army.

On this occasion, a photo exhibition was also organized in the embassy in which the photos of the atrocities committed by the Indian occupying forces in Occupied Jammu and Kashmir were displayed.
Later, members of the Pakistani and Kashmiri communities took part in a protest rally from Garde de Liste to Place Republique, in which protesters carried banners, placards and images related to the Kashmir conflict.
