Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) tankers from Russia could not get clearance at the Kham terminal so far.
11 tankers of Russian LPG have been standing at Torkham Terminal for 4 days, according to Customs Agent Mujeeb Shinwari, there is a delay in clearance due to the condition of electronic import form.
According to the customs agent, the first 4 Russian LPG tankers got clearance at Torkham terminal after 22 days, another 11 LPG tankers are waiting for clearance for 4 days.
According to Mujeeb Shinwari, Customs, FBR and Ministry of Commerce should issue exemption order from EIF form.
According to the customs agent, the import clearance journey has been prolonged due to Financial Action Task Force (FATF) conditions.
