American Congressman All Green has demanded the American government to play a role in providing aid to Pakistan from the IMF and the World Bank.
Speaking in the House of Representatives, Congressman All Green said that Pakistan is already affected by floods, America can deny global warming but Pakistan is suffering it.
He further said that Pakistan is in dire need of aid at this time.
US Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen responded that the US supports the IMF’s work in Pakistan.
