Chief Meteorologist Sardar Sarfaraz has said that the intensity of the cyclone has decreased somewhat.
Talking to Shahzeb Khanzada on Geo News program today, he said that there is no dangerous situation in Karachi, the cyclone will leave the south of Karachi.
He further said that at present the direction of the cyclone is towards North which will turn towards Northeast, the storm will pass or hit Kati Bandar and Indian Gujarat.
Sardar Sarfaraz said that light to moderate rain is likely in Karachi today, while heavy rain is likely on Thursday and Friday.
On the other hand, the Indian Meteorological Department also says that the intensity of the storm has decreased slightly, the storm will cross Saurashtra, Kutch and Pakistani coasts on Thursday.
