The accused was killed during a police encounter in Sohrab Goth area of Karachi, the accused had martyred two policemen by shooting in Sohrab Goth two days ago.
Police officials say that the accused Sharabu Khan was involved in the killing of police officers, besides the accused was wanted by the police in several incidents including murder, robbery and attempted murder.
According to Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) East Zubair Nazir Sheikh, when the police arrived on the information of the presence of the accused near Sohrab Goth Indus Plaza, the accused opened fire.
As a result of the retaliatory firing by the policemen, the accused Sharabu Khan was killed.
On Saturday, the accused opened fire in the same area of Sohrab Goth, as a result of which two policemen, Hakeem and Rehmat, were martyred. Weapons were also recovered from the possession of the deceased accused.
The SSP further said that the accused was involved in several cases including murder, attempted murder and robbery and extortion. Raids are being conducted at various places in search of other accomplices of the accused.
