Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif telephoned Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah and discussed the situation and measures regarding Cyclone Baperjoy.
The Prime Minister appreciated the advance arrangements made by the Sindh Chief Minister to deal with the dangers of the cyclone.
The Prime Minister directed that effective strategy implementation between the federal, provincial governments and institutions should be ensured.
The Prime Minister said that timely transfer of people from the concerned areas to safe areas should be ensured.
The Prime Minister was also apprised of the steps taken to provide advance warning and information to the public.
The Prime Minister was also briefed on the advance arrangements for necessary supplies, equipment and other related items.
The Prime Minister assured the full cooperation of the federal government in dealing with the situation.
The Prime Minister said that all the federal institutions are always ready to help the Sindh government.
