The federal government has decided to negotiate with Tehreek-e-Labaik on the issue of protest in Punjab.
According to official sources, a committee headed by Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah will negotiate with TLP.
It should be noted that during the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf regime, Tehreek-e-Insaf was banned and a notification was issued on April 15, 2021, which stated that under the Anti-Terrorism Act, 1997, the TLP Abolished.
An application was submitted by Tehreek-e-Labeek to the Home Secretary in which the stand was taken that Tehreek-e-Labeek is not a terrorist organization but a political party registered with the Election Commission.
