Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rahman, a prominent religious scholar, says that the attitude of the West is based on hypocrisy, nihilism and partiality.
On the occasion of One-sided Kashmir Day, Ahlul-Sunnat Ulema Convention was held at Darul Uloom Naimiyyah in Karachi, in which many Ulama including Mufti Muneebur Rahman participated.
In the convention, the Federal Shariat Court’s decision regarding the tragedy of desecration of the Holy Quran in Sweden and interest was discussed.
Addressing the convention, Mufti Muneebur Rahman said that the Muslim rulers should take effective diplomatic and economic measures to prevent the insulting of Islamic sanctities.
He said that insulting religious sanctities promotes hatred, anger, aggression and insecurity, which is a great threat to world peace.
Mufti Muneebur Rahman says that no one can be allowed to hurt the hearts of one and a half billion Muslims under the guise of expression of opinion and freedom of speech.
He says that the international community should free the oppressed Muslims of Occupied Kashmir and Palestine from oppression, India should withdraw the unilateral actions of August 2019, and restore the controversial status of Kashmir.
Mufti Muneebur Rehman further said that the government should follow the decision of the Federal Shariat Court on Harmat-i-Sud literally and figuratively, take practical steps instead of verbal claims and promises and bring changes in the laws.
He also asked that the charter of the State Bank of Pakistan should be re-drafted on the Rabai philosophy of economy.
