An agreement has been reached between the Indian Cricket Board (BCCI) and the Pakistan Cricket Board regarding the venue of the World Cup match.
According to Indian media reports, Pakistan has now agreed to play against its arch-rival India at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, India, showing flexibility after accepting the hybrid model proposed by Pakistan for the Asia Cup. India has agreed to play World Cup matches.

The Asia Cup 2023 will be played in Pakistan and Sri Lanka under a hybrid model, the first 4 matches of which will be played in Pakistan while the remaining matches including the final will be scheduled on Lincoln soil but the event will be hosted by PCB.

Earlier, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) had threatened to boycott the Asia Cup and the subsequent ODI World Cup in India if their hybrid model was not accepted.
It may be noted that this will be the first time since 2016 that arch-rivals Pakistan and India will face each other on Indian soil.
The report further states that most of Pakistan’s World Cup matches will be played in Chennai and Hyderabad.
It should be noted that the high-voltage match of World Cup 2023 between Pakistan and India is scheduled on October 15, but the name of the venue of the match has not been announced in the initial reports.
