Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has expressed regret over the loss of life and property due to heavy rain in Bannu and Lucky Marwat.
Prime Minister and Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Zahid Akram Durrani had a telephonic contact, in which Shahbaz Sharif expressed his grief over the loss of lives and property in Bannu and Lucky Marwat.
Shahbaz Sharif said that the people of Bannu, Lucky Marwat will not be left alone in the hour of difficulty, the losses of the people of Bannu, Lucky Marwat will be remedied.
The Prime Minister has directed the Chief Secretary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and NDMA to take emergency measures.
Co-Chairman of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and former President Asif Ali Zardari has also expressed his sympathy and condolence to the families of the deceased while expressing regret over the death due to rain and storm in Bannu.
Asif Ali Zardari prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured and said that the federal and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa governments should help the rain and storm victims.
