A strange incident happened in Nirmal district of Telangana state of India where a shopkeeper sold dog meat to the citizens.
According to local media, a shopkeeper along with his partner stole a dog and then killed it. They cut it into pieces and put the meat in the shop for the customers. The accused used the name of deer and sold dog meat to citizens at cheap prices.
When the citizens had cooked and eaten the meat in their homes, the news came that two youths sold dog meat to people in the name of deer. Hearing this, fear spread among the citizens.
When the police started investigating the matter, with the help of a CCTV footage, it was confirmed that the accused had stolen a dog from the street.
When the accused were arrested by the police and started questioning, they admitted that yes, we sold dog meat to people in the name of deer.
