Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) central leader Hamad Azhar has said that all budget targets are artificial and not based on reality like last year.
In response to the federal budget, Hamad Azhar said that economic development, tax collection, inflation rate were written to balance the budget.
He said that the targets of imports, remittances were written only to balance the budget, they have nothing to do with reality.
The PTI leader further said that there is a manipulation of Rs 1,000 billion in the amount of interest payments and non-tax revenue alone.
He said that the industrial production decreased by 25% due to the ban on the import of raw materials and the shrinking economy.
Hamad Azhar also said that how to restore the economy? No plans have come out on this, the budget targets $8.5 billion in new external debt.
He said that the external debt target would not be possible without the IMF, it seems that the PDM government has no intention of effective decision making.
The PTI leader said that he is not concerned about the economy but only about managing the Chairman PTI.
