References of 4 fake bank accounts against former President Asif Ali Zardari and others were sent back to NAB.
In the Accountability Court, when the fake bank account references against Asif Zardari and others were heard, Judge Muhammad Bashir announced the decision to send the references back to NAB.
Asif Zardari’s lawyer Farooq H. Naik and NAB prosecutors appeared in the court.
Farooq H. Naik said that after the amendment of NAB rules, these references do not come under the jurisdiction of the court, the accountability court cannot conduct a trial on the references.
The court sent back the money laundering reference against Asif Zardari, Faryal Talpur, Hussain Lawai and others to NAB.
Apart from this, plot allotment reference against Manzoor Qadir and other accused and Sindh Bank reference against Bilal Sheikh and other accused were also sent back to NAB.
The accountability court also sent the pink residency reference back to NAB.
It should be noted that 4 NAB references against Asif Zardari have already been returned to NAB.
