Karachi: According to All Pakistan Cement Manufacturers Association, cement sales increased by 1.15% in January 2023.
According to the data, the domestic sales of cement in January 2023 were 3.587 million tons, while the domestic sales of cement in January 2022 were 3.409 million tons, thus the local sales were 5.24 percent higher.
In January 2023, the export of cement was 4 lakh 18 thousand 67 tons, which was 24.13% less than the export of 5 lakh 51 thousand tons of January 2022.
In January 2023, cement sales from cement factories in northern regions increased by 6.08% to 2.892 million tons, while during January 2022, cement sales from cement factories in northern regions were 2.726 million tons.
