The Indus River will be diverted for the Diamer Bhasha Dam in November, one of the most important targets to divert the Indus River.
WAPDA Chairman Sajjad Ghani visited Diamar Bhasha Dam Project, on this occasion he was briefed about the project.
Officers told Chairman WAPDA that the Indus River will follow its natural course after the dye version.
According to officials, construction work is going on at 13 sites of Diamar Bhasha Dam Project, Diamar Bhasha Dam will store 8.1 million acre feet of water.
The project officials while giving a briefing said that 4 thousand 500 MW of cheap electricity will be generated from the dam, the Dasu project of 4 thousand 320 MW will be completed in two phases.
