Tax evasion in Pakistan is 956 billion rupees in a year, tax evaders include real estate, tea, cigarettes, tires, oil and pharma sectors.
The report of the international research institute Apsos has revealed that only in real estate, 500 billion rupees of tax is evaded in a year, 240 billion rupees are evaded in the cigarette industry.
According to the report, 45 billion rupees in the tea industry, 65 billion rupees in the pharmaceutical sector, and 106 billion rupees in the tires and oil sector are being evaded.
