Karachi: The mystery of the tiger’s death in the Thado Dam area of Gadap Town has been solved, the social media viral video has been declared fake by Sindh Wildlife.
The conservator of the wildlife department says that the species of tiger seen in the video is not found in Sindh, and there have been no reports of tiger escapes from any farmhouse.
It should be noted that a video went viral on social media last night in which a tiger was allegedly shown walking freely between rows of trees in the Gadap Town area, while another video showed a tiger lying on its eyes. The light seems to be shining.
In the background of the above video, a person comments about the tiger in Sindhi, claiming that it is currently near the Thado Dam on the outskirts of Karachi and that a bloodthirsty tiger is roaming here, killing humans and animals. Pets can pose serious risks.
The person making the video is advising others nearby not to touch the tiger and let it go.
According to Wildlife Department Conservator Javed Mehr, there was no evidence of tiger presence in the Thado Dam/Gadap Town area on the outskirts of the city.
He said that late at night, special teams were dispatched to Thadodam and adjacent suburbs, search teams were simultaneously equipped with vehicles and motorcycles and equipped with the necessary equipment, the teams searched all the areas very carefully in the darkness of night and daylight. According to Javed Mehr, Sindh Wildlife teams also recorded interviews with local people, but found no evidence of Babrashir’s presence. It is also clear from the video that dubbing or voice over has been done on it.
He further said that fear and anxiety spread in the city due to the rumors of Babrashir’s presence, the species of tiger seen in the video is not found in Sindh.
According to Kunzwitsand Wildlife, no incident of lion escape was reported even from the farmhouses in the vicinity of the suburbs.
