Meteorological analyst Jawad Memon says that warm and humid humid climate in Karachi is beneficial for monsoon.
He says that the temperature of the sea surface is high in the city of Quaid these days, due to the high temperature of the sea surface, excess moisture is coming with the sea winds.
Javad Memon has stated that warm and humid humid climate is beneficial for monsoons, the warmth helps in the formation of seasonal low pressure areas.
He has said that at the onset of monsoon, systems from India come into Sindh from Gujarat and Rajasthan, the low pressure area attracts the monsoon winds.
Meteorological analyst Jawad Memon further says that the monsoon cycle continues like this in Pakistan, when the monsoon system approaches, the system will get support due to increased humidity.
They also say that this will maintain or even increase the intensity of the system, as hubs act as fuel for the monsoon system.
On the other hand, the Department of Meteorology says that there is more moisture in the sea breezes blowing in Karachi, due to which the city of Quaid is in the grip of hot and humid weather.
According to the Department of Meteorology, the air humidity in Karachi is around 70 to 80 percent during most of the day.
Due to the sea breeze, the temperature of the city is 35 to 37 degrees Celsius, which is in line with the normal average temperature for June.
The current temperature is 32.5 degrees Celsius, the speed of the south-westerly sea breeze is 18 km per hour, and the humidity is 52%.
