The Human Rights Commission of Pakistan (HRCP) and the Association of Electronic Media Editors and News Directors (AMNDA) have demanded the speedy and safe recovery of Zubair Anjum.
HRCP has also stressed on prevention of such illegal incidents.
Amanda described the disappearance of Zubair Anjum as an unacceptable act and called it a clear violation of the constitution and the law.
Amand has also demanded to expose the characters involved in the incident.
Earlier, the Executive Committee of Journalists and Other Media Practitioners Commission ordered the Chief Secretary and IG Sindh to recover Zubair Anjum within 24 hours.
CPJMP directed to submit a report on the incident to the commission within 36 hours.
On the other hand, Karachi Press Club strongly condemned the arrest of Zubair Anjum.
A protest was held outside the Karachi Press Club by KJ Dastur, condemning the arrest of Zubair Anjum.
Leaders of various journalist organizations and journalists participated in the protest.
