National Database Registration Authority (NADRA) has decided to start “NADRA Biker Service” in Karachi after the federal capital.
Through the Nadra Biker service, issuance and verification of National Identity Cards will be possible even sitting at home.
According to sources, under this facility, citizens will be able to call NADRA staff at their homes for various stages of national identity cards.
Sources say that under the biker service, one will have to pay an additional amount compared to the normal fee during the facility.
According to sources, Biker Service staff will complete other steps including thumbprints and pictures of the applicant while renewing the ID card at home.
With this new facility, citizens will get rid of the hassle of waiting at NADRA offices.
Sources say that women bike riders will be hired for the facility to be introduced in Karachi.
Sources say that national identity cards will also be delivered to the citizens’ homes by Nadra Biker staff after being printed.
It should be noted that this facility has been introduced in the federal capital Islamabad some time ago and the needy citizens are making use of it.
