A referendum for the independence of Khalistan was held in Sydney, Australia.
According to a foreign news agency, more than 31 thousand Sikhs voted for the establishment of Khalistan in the referendum.
There was a third phase of voting for the establishment of Khalistan in Australia, referendums for Khalistan have also been held in Melbourne and Brisbane.
More than 50,000 Sikhs voted in Melbourne and 11,000 in Brisbane.
The Sikhs who came to vote raised passionate slogans for the establishment of Khalistan.

Khalistan Council President Dr. Sindhu said that the Sikh nation wants to get freedom to get rid of the domination and exploitation of India, we also want the same right of referendum that Britain and Canada have given to their citizens.
Consul General SFJ Gurpatwant Singh Pannu said that it may take time but referendum is the only way to achieve freedom without violence.
He also said that Sikhs have taken the path of ballot instead of bullet for freedom.
