New Delhi: The annual charity bazaar organized in the Indian capital, New Delhi, created a sensation of Pakistani cuisine, with representatives of various embassies praising Pakistani cuisine.
The annual charity bazaar was organized by the Delhi Commonwealth Women’s Association in the Indian capital, New Delhi. Charity bazaar was decorated with food and drink stalls from embassies of various countries based in New Delhi.
A stall was also set up by the Pakistan High Commission where guests relished traditional Pakistani cuisine including biryani, chappal kebabs and Kashmiri tea.
The wives of Pakistan High Commission officers and staff led the arrangements and welcomed the guests. According to a spokesperson of the Pakistan High Commission, the response from guests was overwhelming and people queued up throughout the day to enjoy Pakistani cuisine.
Salman Sharif, Charge d’Affaires and other officers of the High Commission also interacted with the guests. The Pakistani affairs coordinator said that the popularity of Pakistani stalls and appreciation of Pakistani dishes reflects that our food is among the best in the world.
