The PIA plane stopped in Malaysia was allowed to return home

A Malaysian court allowed the flight of national airline PIA, which was intercepted in Kuala Lumpur, to return home.

The court suspended the order to stop the plane, PIA’s legal team suspended the court order within 3 days and seized the plane.

According to sources, on May 26, the local court of Malaysia issued orders to stop the plane without summoning or giving notice to PIA.

The orders to stop the plane were received by PIA and airport authorities a few minutes before the flight took off on May 29.

A PIA spokesperson has confirmed that the local court on Friday overturned the grounding order in favor of PIA.

According to sources, the PIA aircraft will return by flying a ferry flight (without passengers) with callsign 6893. The aircraft could not take off yet due to non-clearance of entry into Indian airspace.

The Indian Aviation Authority did not allow the PIA aircraft to use the Indian airspace.

The flight’s departure time has been changed twice and still the final time is not available, Indian officials are seeking clarification from PIA to allow the empty plane to enter the airspace.

The PIA spokesperson says that the Malaysian court had stopped the PIA plane at the Kuala Lumpur airport at the request of the leasing company. The plane has been parked at the Kuala Lumpur airport since May 29.
