Excise and taxation officials in Lahore stopped comedian Iftikhar Thakur’s car for non-payment of token tax. Iftikhar paid the tax on the spot.
The Excise Department intercepted comedian Iftikhar Thakur’s vehicle at Davis Road junction.
According to Director Excise Muhammad Asif, Iftikhar Thakur submitted the token tax on the spot.
Iftikhar Thakur said that the mobile app of banks has made it easy, one can save lives by paying tax on the spot.
He said that one should not get angry if the excise officers stop.
